The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The support point designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to help the servicing of all consumers and increase access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
